how do i delete a facebook page that i made, created 2011, okay this is a update to my previous post about that i could not delete my facebook "group" turns out it was because mine is a facebook "page" and not a group.

to delete a facebook "group" the advice people are giving turns out to be accurate, which they basically say to go up to the top right of your facebook "group" and click see all, on the page that follows firstly delete all the people who joined your "group", then lastly delete yourself who is the admin, this deletes a facebook group correctly.

the problem i had was that advice did not work for deleting a facebook "page", now i know there is a difference between a facebook page to facebook group, i looked for advice on how to delete my facebook page which is a different process to the one for deleting a group.

to delete my facebook "page" i need to do this process this is how facebook describes the process below-

"To delete your Page or Place:

1, Click Edit Page in the upper-right corner of your Page
2, Select Manage Permissions from the left sidebar
3, Click Delete [Your Page Name]

You will have the option to unpublish or delete your Page. If you delete your Page, you'll have 14 days to change your mind. After that, your Page will be permanently deleted."

this is why i was perplexed in the previous blog post about trying to delete the facebook page because i was trying to use advice about deleting a facebook group and not page which is what i had created and wanted to delete.

so first when going through this process and before you go to delete something off facebook like a page or group, you need to first check what it actually is, as the process of deleting a facebook group is very different to the process of deleting a facebook page.

and it can be confusing because both look very similar to each other, and it confused me before a realised the difference when it comes to how you go about removing facebook groups and pages from your account.

so i am quickly putting this post with another technique that might work if the other technique or way to delete a facebook group correctly is not working for you.

the problem i am having is when on my facebook group page, everyone says to delete the group first go to your top right of the page, and click on the words "see all".

on that page delete all members from your group, then when everyone is deleted from your group, you delete yourself last, this closes the facebook group fully.

this is great if this technique works for you, but when i go to the section called "see all" on my facebook group all it shows is me as the admin and does not show up my facebook members so i cannot delete them from the group this way.

so i found another way of deleting members, but they need to have posted on your facebook page, you delete there post and also delete and ban member when that option comes up, if you just delete there post, they are still members of your group and this means while you have members of your group you cannot delete the group if you just delete yourself, the group stays open and you lose administration status to alter the group.

so i am having a big problem because all the guides coming up on the internet just say to go to the top right of your facebooks groups homepage click on "see all" which should bring up a list of all the people who have joined your facebook page.

then simply delete and ban them all, lastly when you have done that delete yourself as admin and this closes the group, yet when i click see all on the page that follows it just shows me as the admin, so i am lost at the moment on how to delete this facebook page.

i will update this post when i work it out as i am sure other people are finding the same difficulty as me when it comes to deleting pages on facebook that you have created but then decide you want to delete it for whatever reason but then cannot.

and you need to delete it correctly because if you just delete yourself as admin and not all the other people in your facebook group, the page will stay open, yet you will not be able to change it anymore.

i will have to try and find how this deleting of groups and pages on the facebook website works correctly because at the moment it has perplexed me, and probably many others, even though i have read the guides that come up at the top of google search, when i looked for how to delete my groups none of the guides i have read so far are not helping me get the group deleted from my facebook account.

one option i thought of was at first if i cannot delete the group at the moment i can change the group at the least by taking away its name and taking down the picture i put up for the group on facebook at least this way less people will be joining it while i am working out how to delete the page from my facebook account.

kind of funny christmas news stories 2011 not cold enough?, this kind of funny in a strange way, in that retailers are struggling to sell winter items due to the weather in november not being cold enough.

its not funny that retailers are struggling as it will mean job losses, it was just the strange reason why they were struggling due to the weather being too warm in september and november 2011, which i thought was a good thing, until i read that it has caused problems for lots of retailers.

you see they had stocked up in september and novemeber 2011 with all kinds of cold weather clothing and switched over from the more summer items, yet the weather has not got that cold yet, and so not many people have felt the need to buy there winter warmers just yet.

you can see the predicament though, when the weather has been quite mild, i would not say it has been very warm all the time in november and september, but it has definitely been mild for this time of year.

i think retailers should not worry too much if december is really cold, but if december is mild as well, this will be have been a bad 3 months for the clothes retailers on the high street, and also online, because people do not have the need to buy big winter jackets or big thick winter jumpers when the weather is mild.

not to mention all the winter hats and gloves and scarves, but i was thinking it is good the weather being so mild, until i read that it had been so bad for retailers who wanted it to be really cold the last few months when they introduced there winter lines.

so so far christmas profits are really struggling for the big shops, with the weather being warm, everyone wants it warm, but the big shops what it cold as possible, strange situation really.

this is the kind of snowy weather that would get the retailers winter goods shifting off the shelves, but we like it warm though, though it will probably be a white christmas 2011, don't really want it to get this cold like in the picture below, but christmas is predicted to be a cold one, a lot of people might shop online to avoid the cold but then have the problem of the post getting delayed!

at the moment on the run up to christmas 2011 there is debt euro crisis war financial meltdown and government cut backs, but better new year 2012?, is this one of the gloomiest periods before a christmas season in a long time?.

maybe not for some countries who do not celebrate the christmas season, but for the old westernised countries like england, america, germany, france, italy, spain and quite a few others christmas day the 25th of december 2011 and the months leading up to christmas day 2011 are there most important holidays of the year.
